Chasing the Runaway Ball

I'll start with Judah progress. He repeated Sebastian a lot while playing with him. He often repeated the action that Sebastian said and then did the action, which showed that he understood. They played in the mud for a long time today. Judah grabbed one of the basketballs we had laying in the yard, walked to the sidewalk with it & dropped it.. knowing full & well that it was now going to travel down the street, make a left onto Glen Creek, travel downward at a racing speed (hopefully avoiding traffic).. and end up at the bottom of a hill in a yard or under a car. I completely forgot about that until just now.. 11pm at night. I meant to ask Scott to go do his usual search for the ball after he got home, while we had a bit of daylight left. Too late now. What was great though was that after the kids & I raced down to the corner to see which street the ball would turn on (so I would know where to send Scott), Sebastian turned around & ran back to the house & Judah followed!! Typically Judah wants to keep going down the street, not go back home! They all followed! By the way, I don't even try to catch the runaway ball anymore, it's not possible.

Willow is throwing drinks when she is upset - 2 full cups of milk hit the carpet today. She was in underwear for quite a while today. She was very proud & happy about her 2 potty trips (both successes!). We celebrated each of the 3 times she peed during one potty trip. I want to get a rewards chart set up for her. She needs more cute underwear for sure - I can only find one pair out of the just three that she owns (Lalaloopsy). She loves the cute underwear! I want to get serious about her potty-training & get it done. I also made her go to sleep in her own bed tonight. Typically I put her to sleep by laying with her in our bed. It's just so hard to let that last baby move on.

I dropped my new phone for the first time today. Due to it's gigantic size, it slipped out of my pocket as I bent over. It dropped MAYBE 2 feet. The corner of the phone hit the driveway. The screen must have broken during that first impact because the cracking starts in that corner. The screen shattered just as badly as the last one. I'd had this one for less than a week & I had been SUPER careful not to drop it. It was actually the newest version of my old phone. This upgraded phone was twice the size of my old phone.. I'm talking embarrassing to carry around. We had not requested this big thing - it was just all they had. Again, we had not requested this big thing.. that broke, pretty much because it was so big. And will cost nearly a hundred dollars more than the last one to replace (this is WITH insurance) because it is their newest phone. We are going to price getting the screen fixed tomorrow. The price of a replacement plus what we paid for the last replacement is basically the same price it would be to buy the phone with no insurance at all. Ridiculous phone insurance!!!!

Sebastian played outside forever today! He raked his garden, watered it, rode his bike, got out a ton of toys, etc. The "tree sprinkler" provided a steady river for the boys to keep mud accumulating as they played. Smart kids.

Napping during mud play. Sucking a gluten-free granola bar out of it's packaging here.
